Dariusz Jellonnek graduated from Gdynia Maritime University in 1992. Working as an officer on dry-cargo vessels till 1998, when he was promoted to Captain. Working as Master on Stephenson Clarke Shipping vessels till 2013. In 2013 joined V.Ships, at first as Quality Manager & Training Superintendent and then from 2015 working as General Manager for V.Ships Poland. Later he worked for Polferries as Crew Director and (from July 2023) as Head of Training Fleet and onboard Training Department in Maritime University Gdynia.

Dariusz has been involved with the Polish Shipping Company Association (Polski Związek Przedsiębiorców Żeglugowych) from the beginning and for the last five years he is President of PSCA (PZPŻ).
