Filippos Lemos graduated from St Peter’s College, Oxford in 2006 in Philosophy, Politics and Economics.  Together with his brother Andonis Lemos, Filippos chairs several companies across a range of industries, but shipping remains their core business.  In addition to ECSA, Filippos sits on several boards, including the Hellenic War Risks Association, The UK Defence Club, the Malta International Shipowners Association, the Greek Shipping Cooperation Committee, and the Sustainable Markets Initiative Greece Council. Filippos is actively involved in wide-ranging philanthropic work, with an emphasis on eradicating marine plastic pollution and is a principal funder and founder of Common Seas.
