Mario Pavic is CEO and President of Tankerska Plovidba d.d. and Vice-President of CSA Mare Nostrum. After completion of Nautical High School in Zadar, Croatia Mr. Pavic began professional career in Tankerska Plovidba as deck cadet in 1993. In 1996 he graduated from the Faculty of Maritime Studies in Split, Croatia with the degree of Nautical Engineer.

From 1997 to 2002 Mr. Pavic served as a deck officer on Tankerska Plovidba fleet. He took Master Mariner license and finished sea carrier as chief officer on LPG carriers. During his sea career Mr. Pavic sailed on bulk carriers, crude oil tankers, product tankers, chemical tankers and LPGs.

In 2002 Mr. Pavic obtained a master’s degree in Maritime Management at the Faculty of Maritime Studies in Split, Croatia.

Between 2003 and 2007 Mr. Pavic was Tanker Operations Manager in Tankerska Plovidba.  Between 2007 and 2012 Mr. Pavic was a broker in Tankerska Plovidba London subsidiary Alan Shipping and a Managing Director in the same company from 2012 till 2013.

In 2013 Mr. Pavic became the CEO and President of the Management Board member of Tankerska Plovidba. In 2018 Mr. Pavic graduated with an MBA degree on IEDC – Bled School of Management, Slovenia.

Mr. Pavić is a currently also INTERTANKO Executive Committee Member, UK P&I Club director, member of the Supervisory Board of Tankerska Next Generation d.d. and Turisthotel d.d. Continuously since 2013 Mr. Pavic is also Member of General Committee of Croatian Register of Shipping and Member of International General Committee of Bureau Veritas.
