Mario Pavić is CEO and President of Tankerska Plovidba d.d. and Vice-President of CSA Mare Nostrum. After completion of Nautical High School in Zadar, Croatia Mr. Pavić began professional career in Tankerska Plovidba as deck cadet in 1993. In 1996 he graduated from the Faculty of Maritime Studies in Split, Croatia with the degree of Nautical Engineer.

From 1997 to 2002 Mr. Pavić served as a deck officer on Tankerska Plovidba fleet. He took Master Mariner license and finished sea carrier as chief officer on LPG carriers. During his sea career Mr. Pavić sailed on bulk carriers, crude oil tankers, product tankers, chemical tankers and LPGs.

In 2002 Mr. Pavić obtained a master’s degree in Maritime Management at the Faculty of Maritime Studies in Split, Croatia.

Between 2003 and 2007 Mr. Pavić was Tanker Operations Manager in Tankerska Plovidba.  Between 2007 and 2012 Mr. Pavić was a broker in Tankerska Plovidba London subsidiary Alan Shipping and a Managing Director in the same company from 2012 till 2013.

In 2013 Mr. Pavić became the CEO and President of the Management Board member of Tankerska Plovidba. In 2018 Mr. Pavić graduated with an MBA degree on IEDC – Bled School of Management, Slovenia.
