Marcin Talwik has been involved with the largest shipping owner in Szczecin, Poland – Polsteam Capital Group since 1995.

During that time he was responsible for companies & ship registration in various jurisdictions. Between 2006 and 2010 held the position of Managing Director of Cyfadaco Shipmanagement, crewwing company based in Limassol, Cyprus as well as a representative of Polsteam Group in relation to tax matters. He actively participated in the meetings of Cyprus Shipping Chamber.

Upon his return to Poland, from 2011 to 2023, he was responsible for contacts with trade unions with regard to collective bargaining negotiations and represented the company at IMEC, London.

Member of the Supervisory Boards of various companies, including most recently Polish Ferries responsible for the reconstruction of ferry tonnage in Poland.

Since April 2023 member of the Board of the Polish Shipowners’ Association, initiator of Poland’s return to ECSA. Headed the Polish Shipping Association established jointly by the two largest shipowners’ associations in Poland.

Since October 2023 Vice President of Zegluga Polska SA, the second largest shipowning company in Poland.
