Brussels meets European shipping

The European Shipping Summit brings together European shipowners, the maritime sector and its supply chain, European and international policy makers, NGOs, industry stakeholders, seafarers and maritime workers to discuss the future of shipping and the biggest challenges of our time.

The next edition will take place on the 19-20 March 2025 at the Royal Museums of Fine Arts in Brussels. The two-day event will include engaging industry sessions, networking opportunities, and a high-level conference. European Shipping Summit 2023

The first edition of the European Shipping Summit took place on 19-20 September 2023. 600 participants took part in the event that featured 12 industry sessions organised by 20 different stakeholders, a gala dinner and a high-level conference. Aligning with the priorities of European shipowners, the discussions all circled the overarching theme: the strategic importance of shipping of European security.

Among many great speakers and panelists were José Manuel Barroso, Former President of the European Commission, Margaritis Schinas, Vice-President of the European Commission, Magda Kopczynska, Director-General DG MOVE, European Commission and Chair of ICS and President & MD of Grimaldi Euromed, Emanuele Grimaldi.
