Alternate: Loïc Van Staey
Loïc van Staey started his career as a tax consultant at PwC Belgium, with a focus on corporate taxation in mergers and acquisitions. After a couple of years, Loïc joined UNIZO, the leading representative of the Belgian small and medium sized enterprises as a policy advisor, especially in the field of taxation.
After 6 years with UNIZO, Loïc joined the cabinet of Deputy Prime Minister Vincent Van Quickenborne and his successor Paul Van Tigchelt, who were both in charge of the North Sea. It is during this period that the focus on the maritime industry and specifically shipping was triggered. Since November 2024, Loïc joined RBSA as a taxation and security advisor and from 1 July 2025 will take up the role of managing director.
